The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce forward Luke Lisko (’04) has committed to the Ferris State Bulldogs (NCAA Div I).
The commitment marks the 11th Crusader on this year’s team to earn a post-secondary scholarship.
“The professionalism of the coaching staff and the culture of the program at Ferris State made my decision very easy to become a part of it,” commented Lisko on his commitment. “I’d like to thank my parents, coaches, teammates, and anyone else who has contributed to my success along the way.”
“We’re really happy for Luke committing to Ferris State,” stated Crusaders general manager Adam Sergerie. “He’s been really important for us since he’s gotten here and it’s nice to see him get rewarded. Luke’s a great kid who represents everything we want in our organization. He’s got a contagious smile and works to get better every day.”
“We look forward to his continued success this season and beyond at Ferris State.”
This season marks Lisko’s second with the Crusaders. Across 55 games thus far with Sherwood Park, the Marine City, Michigan native has potted a total of 42 points (21 goals, 21 assists). Prior to joining the organization, the 6’1 forward played the 2021/2022 season with the South Kent School 18U AAA program, scoring 40 points (17 goals, 23 assists) in 59 games.
The Crusaders would like to congratulate Luke and the Lisko family on his accomplishment.
