Matt Chomyc Commits to SAIT Trojans

The Calgary Canucks Junior “A” Hockey Club is pleased to announce that 20 year old forward Matt Chomyc has committed to attend and play for the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. Chomyc is a 2nd year Canuck, Friends of the Alberta Junior Hockey League scholarship recipient, the Calgary Canucks Most Popular Player Award winner and the recipient of the Canucks Player’s Player Award.

Matt has enrolled in SAIT’s Business Administration program with focus on completing SAIT’s new Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.

Ken Babey SAIT Athletic Director and Men’s Hockey Coach stated that, “Matt is a team player that plays a competitive and physical style. It is these attributes, combined with Matt’s commitment to develop , that makes him a great fit for the SAIT Trojans.”
