The 2006-born rookie recorded two consecutive three-point games and extended his point streak to 11 points over four games. The Bobcats recorded a 6-3 win over the visiting Calgary Canucks on November 22nd with Moore scoring a goal and adding two assists. On November 23rd, Moore recorded three assists in a 5-4 decision over the Drumheller Dragons. The Bobcats are undefeated in regulation time through their last nine games (8-0-0-1).
Cooper Moore (Red Deer, AB) is third among AJHL rookies with 21 points (6G, 15A) in 20 games played and within the Top 15 of AJHL Point Leaders. Moore was also recently recognized as the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week (November 11th-17th, 2024).
2007-born defenceman Kohyn Pipke is the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week after extending his active point streak to four games through the week of November 18th-24th, 2024.
Kohyn Pipke (Westlock, AB) picked up three points in a home and home series versus the Olds Grizzlys. The rookie blueliner scored the first goal of the game for the Drayton Valley Thunder on November 22nd and earned an assist in the 5-2 victory. Pipke recorded his ninth assist of the season when the Thunder battled to a 5-4 OT loss in the second game of the double header on November 23rd. Pipke leads all AJHL rookie defencemen with 13 points (4G, 9A).
Calgary Canucks forward Nolan DuPont is the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week with four points (1G, 3A) in two games as he extended his league-leading point streak to six games and 10 points.
Nolan DuPont (2006) scored his tenth goal of the season in a November 22nd road game versus Lloydminster and added three assists in a 7-2 road win over the Bonnyville Pontiacs on November 23rd. Nolan was selected as the Viterra AJHL Player of the Game for his three-point performance, which was his eighth multi-point game of the season.
With 28 points in 22 games, DuPont is second among all AJHL rookies and third overall in AJHL Scoring Leaders. DuPont and his hometown Calgary Canucks currently hold top spot in the Viterra AJHL South Division with a record of 14-7-1-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL).
