Fort McMurray, AB (January 27, 2021) – The Fort McMurray Oil Barons are thrilled to announce that 2000-born forward Ty Mosimann (Edam, SK) has committed to the Marian University Sabres.
Mosimann’s commitment to the NCAA Division III program in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin will begin immediately, where he will complete the remainder of the 2020-21 season.
Mosimann joined the Oil Barons following an offseason trade in the summer of 2020. In four games with the Oil Barons this season before a pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mosimann recorded three goals and an assist.
In total, Mosimann has appeared in 119 AJHL games between the Oil Barons and Lloydminster Bobcats, where he’s amassed 62 points (25 goals, 37 assists).
