Each year the Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs choose one player to wear the captain’s “C” and lead the team on and off the ice. This season, after a vote and coaches’ input, the team selected forward Locke Muller as captain of the Pontiacs.
St. Paul native Muller will be following in the footsteps of former Pontiacs and past captains Michael Westfall in 2010-11 and Dante Borrelli and Kevin Carthy in 2011-12.
“Coming into Bonnyville, I was ready for a larger role and to be one of the leaders on the team,” said Muller. “It’s a huge honour to be chosen by my teammates to be the captain of the Bonnyville Pontiacs.”
