Calgary Canucks defenceman Nathan Maloney (Quinnipiac University) is the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for February 2025. The 2006-born rookie recorded 16 points in eight games for the Canucks including five multi-point games.
Maloney (Strathmore, AB) recorded an exceptional month with six goals and ten assists, three four-point games, and a seven-game point streak from January 25th-February 15th. Nathan logs high-end minutes on the blueline against the top teams in the AJHL and is a member of the Canucks league-leading penalty kill (88.7%) and powerplay unit.
Nathan Maloney leads all AJHL defencemen with 38 points (13G, 25A) in 41 games played. Maloney is the third Canuck to be recognized as the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month in the 2024-25 season.
