For the first time in three years, the Fort McMurray Oil Barons were looking forward to an impending handshake lineup.
After all, on the other side of is more hockey and a chance to continue their dream season into April after the Barons clinched their first North Division finals appearance since 2014.
The MOB stumbled out of the gates Friday at the Casman Centre, but exploded for a four-goal second as they trounced the Bonnyville Pontiacs by a 4-1 score, closing out their Alberta Junior Hockey League North Division semifinal in five games.
