The Bobcats would get the majority of the pressure in the second period, but neither team was able to score and it would remain 1-0 Oil Barons after two periods.
Shots were even in the second period 6-6, 16-13 Oil Barons after two.
In the third the Oil Barons would survive some early pressure from the Bobcats.
Then Bobcats goaltender Christopher Tai misplayed the puck and that allowed Adam Durkee to make it 2-0 Oil Barons at 5:59 of the third period.
The Bobcats would up turn up the pressure but were unable to beat Oil Barons goaltender Tanner Jaillet.
Bobcats outshot the Oil Barons 11-6 in the third period.
Bobcats goaltender Christopher Tai made 23 saves in the loss.
