The Okotoks Oilers return home with a pair of losses to open up their South Division Semi Finals with the Camrose Kodiaks.
Camrose was able to come away with 4-1 and 5-2 victories Saturday and Sunday giving them an early 2-0 series lead in the best of 7.
Oilers Associate Coach Bobby Fox says it was a frustrating weekend.
“We got outworked in a lot of aspects, we're not winning enough battles and that's the only thing,” he says. “Obviously there's a little puck luck involved in some of their goals but we've got to be better.”
Despite the setback in the series Fox says he hopes to the Oilers start to click on home ice.
