The Okotoks Oilers are one win away from advancing to the AJHL South Semi-Finals, as they defeated the Olds Grizzlys by a final score of 3-2.
Both teams came out flying, with Okotoks getting on the board first with a marker from John Edwardh just 2:06 into the pivotal third game. Jordan Swenson and Matt McNair picked up assists on the opening goal.
Olds answered back quickly though, as Jordan Lajimodiere would put up his first goal of the Grizzlys' playoff run to tie it up twenty-two seconds later.
Oilers youngster Jake Dube wouldn't keep the tie for long, as would make it a 2-1 Okotoks lead heading into the middle frame.
