Brooks Bandits forward Austin Plevy is the Alberta Dodge Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for November 2014 and the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the final week of November. Plevy scored 4 goals and 7 points in two games last week to close out November, and completed the month with 10 goals, 11 assists and 21 points in 11 games played.
Austin Plevy (Langley, BC) is on an 8 game point streak, totaling 18 points. He leads the AJHL in scoring with 49 points in 28 games and an average of 1.8 points per game. Plevy recorded his first AJHL Hat Trick and scored the OT winner on November 28th versus Drayton Valley and was awarded the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game for the second time in November. The game winning goal was his 4th of the season.
Plevy was also recognized as the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week during the opening week of October 2014.
The 20 year-old is in his second season with the Bandits and has committed to the University of Massachusetts.
