Each of the 480 AJHL regular season games features the Pro Hockey Life Stars of the Game, recognizing a player from each team deemed to be that night’s top star. Every time a player is recognized as a Pro Hockey Life Star of the Game throughout the regular season, they will receive five points towards the pursuit of the Pro Hockey Life Cup awarded at the end of the season.
The Pro Hockey Life Cup leader as of September 30th, 2011 is Hugo Turcotte, with five Pro Hockey Life Star of the Game selections and 25 points. Turcotte is in his first AJHL season and leads the Grande Prairie Storm in scoring with 16 points in 12 games played. The 20 year-old forward enjoyed a five game point streak totaling 12 points in September and also recorded his first AJHL hat trick on September 17th.
