The Brooks Bandits and Q13 Radio (Newcap Broadcasting) are pleased to announce that an agreement is in place to broadcast the Bandits hockey games for the 11th straight season. All home games for the Brooks Bandits will be broadcast on Q13 Radio and through the website at www.q13country.com.
Play by play announcer Dennis Seibel, the only voice the Brooks Bandits have had, will be doing the play by play again. His attention to detail and articulate smooth style with his enthusiasm and passion for the game of hockey has kept fans up to date on what is happening with the Bandits. Seibel, a veteran broadcaster, is also a Marty Knack Award winner for his contribution to junior hockey in Alberta.
Bandits President Paul Seaton said, “We have always had a good relationship with Q13 and appreciate the support they and Dennis give the team and the community. In addition to the game broadcasts, their coverage provides dependable assistance promoting activities and our advertisers. Their contribution adds a dimension to the professionalism of our organization.”
Q13/Fox Manager John Petrie added, “We are blessed to have the talent of Dennis doing play by play for us. He has such a natural way of describing the game that it is so easy to follow.”
Bandits GM/Head Coach Ryan Papaioannou commented, “Dennis and Q13 are an extension of the organization, their support for our club is undeniable. We are fortunate to have such a great working relationship with them and again look forward to each broadcast.”
The Bandits first broadcast game this year will be Friday, September 17th when the Calgary Mustangs play in Brooks.
