RBC Community Ambassador: Ayden Roche-Setoguchi, Okotoks Oilers

Ayden is commencing his fourth year in the AJHL and has continuously shown his leadership and dedication towards community and education.

Ayden?s list of associated charitable programs is plentiful including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), RCMP Project Keep Straight, Okotoks Readers, Kokua TRY-Sport, Okotoks Minor Hockey, Tanbridge Academy, Okotoks Elementary Learn-to-Read, and the Okotoks Food Bank.

Ayden?s true strengths lie not only in his willingness in helping others but his contagious personality and passion that persuades others to help make our community better as well.  It is with great pleasure that his coaches nominated Ayden as the RBC & AJHL Community Ambassador.

Each AJHL team will nominate one player who has shown exemplary commitment to community service to be recognized as an AJHL RBC Community Ambassador – all 16 athletes will make up the 2019-20 AJHL RBC Community Ambassador Team!   At the conclusion of the regular season, one AJHL RBC Community Ambassador will be selected as the recipient of the RBC Community Award. A donation will be made to the Ambassador?s local charity from RBC and a Scholarship will be provided to the player from the AJHL to be used for post-secondary education.
