Since joining the Crusaders, Brennan has consistently shown his commitment to the community of Sherwood Park. At every opportunity, Brennan is out making a positive impact on the youth of Strathcona County, whether through his countless volunteer hours reading at schools or simply taking the time to say hello to any minor hockey players around the Sherwood Park arena.

His positive spirit at every event is contagious, and his willingness to go above and beyond for the community is a standard that every member of the AJHL should strive for.  Brennan says that a couple of other areas he likes to volunteer with are with the Robin Hood Association where they play sledge hockey.

?I also have two Sherwood Park minor hockey teams I volunteer with. With those teams, I practice with them once or twice a week to help the coaches and the kids as well. I chose to give the $1000 RBC donation as part of being selected as the AJHL Community Ambassador to TD Baker School which is a tougher area in Edmonton.?

Each AJHL team will nominate one player who has shown exemplary commitment to community service to be recognized as an AJHL RBC Community Ambassador – all 16 athletes will make up the 2019-20 AJHL RBC Community Ambassador Team!   At the conclusion of the regular season, one AJHL RBC Community Ambassador will be selected as the recipient of the RBC Community Award. A donation will be made to the Ambassador?s local charity from RBC and a Scholarship will be provided to the player from the AJHL to be used for post-secondary education.
