The 2011 AJHL Enerflex Cup Final will showcase the Spruce Grove Saints of the North Division against the Camrose Kodiaks of the South Division. The best-of-seven series will begin on Friday, April 1st at the Grant Fuhr Arena in Spruce Grove, AB.
By securing 1st place in the North Division during the regular season, the Spruce Grove Saints earned a first round bye in the 2011 AJHL Enerflex Cup Playoffs. The Saints then went on to sweep the Lloydminster Bobcats and Fort McMurray Oil Barons. The Saints are undefeated in the 2011 AJHL Playoffs (8-0). The Kodiaks eliminated the Drumheller Dragons in the opening round of the AJHL Playoffs. The second and third round series against the Brooks Bandits and Okotoks Oilers both went the full seven games to determine a winner.
This will be the third consecutive League Final appearance for the Saints. The Saints are the defending AJHL Enerflex Cup Champions. The Spruce Grove Saints also captured the 2010-2011 Dave Duchak Trophy as the AJHL Regular Season Champions for the third consecutive season.
The Kodiaks last succeeded to the League Final in 2007-2008, where they defeated the Fort McMurray Oil Barons in Game Seven to win the 2008 League Title. The Kodiaks have a guaranteed spot in the 2011RBC Cup National Junior A Championship as the host team.
The Spruce Grove Saints are looking to repeat as Champions after claiming their first League Title in 2010. The Camrose Kodiaks have won five League Titles (2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008).
The Spruce Grove Saints held a record of 50-6-4 for 104 points in the 2010-2011 AJHL Regular Season, 1st overall in the AJHL Standings. The Camrose Kodiaks were 32-22-6 for 70 points, 3rd in the South Division Standings and 7th overall. The Saints and Kodiaks split the regular season series 1-1 and have not met since November 3rd, 2010.

The 2011 Doyle Cup Champion will qualify for the right to represent the Pacific Region at the 2011 RBC Royal Bank Cup National Junior ‘A’ Championship in Camrose, AB from April 30th-May 8th, 2011.
