As the puck dropped on the AJHL final it was clear both teams were playing for more than a championship.
The Okotoks Oilers and Spruce Grove Saints stood side-by-side to honour the Humboldt Broncos in a show of solidarity Friday night at Pason Centennial Arena prior to the Saints 4-3 overtime victory in Game 1 of the Alberta Junior Hockey League championship series.
