The Spruce Grove Saints scored four times in the second period Sunday to stave off elimination in their Alberta Junior Hockey League playoff series with the Sherwood Park Crusaders.
The Saints, who won the AJHL’s regular season title, defeated the underdog Crusaders 5-3 at Sherwood Park Arena to force a seventh and deciding game in the North Division semifinal at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Grant Fuhr Arena in Spruce Grove.
