Sam Prpich commits to University of Wisconsin-Superior

The Calgary Canucks are proud to announce that Sam Prpich has committed to attend the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

Prpich, a 20 year old, was brought in at the trade deadline to help lead a young Canuck line up. “Sam was able to bring experience to our team. He’s a great skater with some scoring ability, and plays tough brand of hockey, and that just what we were in need of. Sam was a big part of the team’s success down the later stretch of the season,” comments Head Coach and General Manager Ryan Barrett.

Sam’s hard work and dedication on and off the ice has earned himself the opportunity to play for the University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets. The mission of the University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjacket Athletics is to help student-athletes become exceptional students through participation in a competitive athletic program that also enriches the university community.

The Calgary Canucks oganization is very proud of Sam and his accomplishments this year. Sam will be a great addition to the University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets Men’s Hockey Team. Congratulations to Sam and his family for the excellent opportunity he has earned.
