The Whitecourt Wolverines 2012-13 season is over.
The team went into the AJHL North Division finals Game 5 down in the series 3-1 against the Spruce Grove Saints, leading the series 3-1 on Friday, April 5.
The Saints took an early lead scoring a goal each in the first and second period. With three minutes remaining in the third period, Trace Elson scored to bring the Wolverines within one goal and the outcome was in doubt.
But the Saints held on, effectively ending the season for the Wolverines.
