The Grande Prairie Storm are excited to announce the hiring of Kevin Higo as Head Coach.
Higo brings a wealth of experience to the club, including time spent as both a Head Coach and Assistant Coach at the AJHL level with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, Crowsnest Pass Timberwolves and Brook Bandits, including being named the AJHL Coach Of The Year in 2004-2005.
His coaching career has also taken him to the Canadian Major Junior Level as an assistant with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL, and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. Most recently, Higo has been involved with the Edge School in Calgary as Head Coach of their Elite 15 Team, last season posting a record of 43-14-4.
While there is no immediate timeline for his arrival in Grande Prairie, a formal press conference to introduce Coach Higo will be forthcoming shortly.
