It’s finally happened for the Grande Prairie Junior A Storm; the team officially has a winning streak.
After defeating the Okotoks Oilers 5-1 on Friday night, the Storm lit-up the scoreboard in Saturday night’s 7-4 win over the Olds Grizzlys. By winning the two games, the Storm have now won back-to-back games for the first time this season.
“That was huge for our team right now and we’re all excited to put together back-to-back wins, especially at home,” said Storm forward Nick Weiss, who had a goal and an assist in Saturday night’s win over the Grizzlys.
