The Okotoks Oilers are pleased to announce that Michael Tadjdeh, a 20-year old goaltender from Calgary, AB will be pursuing his education and furthering his hockey career at SAIT in Calgary.
Tadjdeh finished his junior career playing two seasons with the Oilers, after spending two seasons in the WHL with Lethbridge & Spokane. Tadjdeh posted a record of 43 wins, 21 losses and 5 overtime losses in 71 AJHL games with a career goals against average of 2.73 and a save percentage of .907 with the Oilers. Tadjdeh leaves as the Oilers career leader for all goaltending playoff statistics with wins (12), winning percentage, goals against (2.35) and save percentage (.916).
The entire Oilers organization would like to congratulate Michael and his family on this accomplishment and wish him the best of luck as he moves on to the next level of his hockey career and education at SAIT.
Tadjdeh is the 9th player from the 2011-2012 Oilers roster to commit to a post secondary hockey program.
