Let’s call it Tony’s tilt.
On Thursday night, the Spruce Grove Saints and the Sherwood Park Crusaders begin the second round of the Alberta Junior Hockey League playoffs. Both teams are separated by a ring road around Edmonton known as Anthony Henday Drive, but for our purposes we’ll just call it the Tony.
The Saints have been resting since their last regular-season game on Feb. 26, a luxury given to them for their first-place finish in the AJHL North Division.
