The Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for December 2017 is Okotoks Oilers forward Tanner Laderoute. In 10 games played, Laderoute scored 7 goals and 9 assists for 16 points, the most of all AJHL scorers in December.
Tanner Laderoute has recorded a point in his last eight consecutive games, and in 15 of his last 16 games played. He also recorded a career high 5-point game on December 8th with 1 goal and 4 assists against the Drayton Valley Thunder.
The 20 year-old from Edmonton, AB is in his 4th AJHL season. Tanner is second in team scoring with 37 points (17 goals, 20 assists) and 17th overall in the AJHL Scoring Race.
Through the month of December, the Oilers were 7-3 and held onto top spot in the Viterra AJHL South Division with an overall record of 29-6-2.
