Thomas Kramer Commits to Babson College

The Bonnyville PONTIACS are pleased to announce the NCAA commitment of forward Thomas KRAMER to the Babson College BEAVERS for the 2020/21 season. Thomas Kramer, who is from Bridgewater, Mass., scored 22 goals and added 18 assists in 39 games for the PONTIACS in his first year in the AJHL and was also named the Pontiacs Top Rookie. Kramer was 5th among AJHL Rookie league scoring despite missing19 games, Kramer was the only 1st year player in the AJHL named to the All Rookie Team to have played fewer than 50 games.

Babson College is an NCAA Division 3 program and is located in Wellesley, Mass. They compete in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) along with Castleton University, Hobart College, Johnson & Wales University, University of Massachusetts-Boston, New England College, Norwich University, Plymouth State University, Salem State University, Skidmore College, University of Southern Maine and Suffolk University.

“I loved my time in Bonnyville – everything from my billet home, to the coaching and most importantly the ‘true junior A experience’ that they offer,” said KRAMER. “I was treated great and I would recommend the PONTIACS program to anyone that wants to become a better player and person.”

“Thomas Kramer comes from an outstanding character family and great program with Boston College High School and we were tremendously fortunate to have had him in a PONTIAC uniform for the 2019/20 season. He is a born leader who comes to the rink everyday with intention and purpose with the goal of being the very best that he can be,” says Head Coach and General Manager Rick SWAN. He made an immediate impact in our program and in our community and on behalf of the Bonnyville community and the PONTIACS organization we wish him all the success in both his hockey and academic journey at Babson.

Thomas Kramer becomes the 82nd player since 2013/14 to play for the Bonnyville PONTIACS and move on to the college level.
