Thunder Bid Farewell to Six Teammates

With the season now over players from the Drayton Valley Thunder are packing up and saying goodbye to their home at the Omniplex and while most of the team will be back next season, six Thunder boys will say their final goodbyes.

“There are six players that graduate by age, they were playing this year as 20-year-olds so their junior eligibility is over,” said Thunder coach Fran Gow.

The players moving on are Eric Sieben, Luke Madill, Tyler Hart, Neil Tarnasky, Fredric Tanguay, and Doug Jones.

“We’ll have to fill the holes that they leave,” said Gow. “With these players moving on, what they have brought to our hockey club is leadership.”
