- January 10 – The Sherwood Park Crusaders trade the CHA/AJHL rights of Josh Lee to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons for the CHA/AJHL rights of Kyle Scaber and future considerations
- January 10 – The Drumheller Dragons trade the AJHL rights of Nate Engert to the St. Albert Steel for future considerations
- January 10 – The Brooks Bandits trade the CHA/AJHL rights of Mitch Kaufmann and future considerations to the Canmore Eagles for the CHA/AJHL rights of Chris Muscoby
