The MOB acquired Taylor at the deadline from the Olds Grizzlys and he has suited up in nine games with the club from the blue line.
“Tristan has had an immediate impact on our team since arriving at the trade deadline. He’s a great teammate, competes hard and takes pride in the way he defends. He’ll be a great asset to the NAIT Ooks, both on and off the ice. We’re excited to see him get this opportunity to further both his hockey career and education,” said the Fort McMurray Oil Barons Hockey Operations staff.
Taylor won Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week when he registered three assists and guided his team to back-to-back wins in early January.
The Oil Barons would like to congratulate Tristan and his family on this accomplishment.
