VETRANO COMMITS TO USPORTS RAVENS

Assistant Captain Joey Vetrano will play hockey next season at Carleton University.

The Ravens finished with 12 wins and 16 losses within OUA Division of the U-Sports Athletics Association last season. The St-Laurent, QC, native had a career year after coming to the Wolverines after three seasons in the QMJHL. Joey finished 3rd in team scoring with 45 points in 39 games while battling a season long injury.

“Joey is a dynamic offensive player that will be a great add to Carleton for this season,” stated Wolverines Head Coach Shawn Martin.

“Joey fought through injuries all season to keep playing for the Wolverines, Carleton is not just getting a great player but a teammate that will battle through adversity,” added Martin.

Joey had this to say about his commitment, “I would like to thank all my coaches, friends and especially my family for helping me along the way and I cannot wait to get started.”

On behalf of the Wolverines organization, we want to congratulate Joey and his family on this achievement and thank him for his tenure in Whitecourt.

Any questions can be directed to Shawn Martin Head Coach/GM.
