The Spruce Grove Saints have relied on a strong leadership group to get them through some difficult times during this Alberta Junior Hockey League season.
At the head of the group has been captain Josh Harris, who scored the winning goal against the Okotoks Oilers in Game 5 of the AJHL final this past Friday, giving Spruce Grove the league title.
It’s the second time Harris, 20, has been part of a championship team with Spruce Grove, winning as a rookie in 2015.
