  • Name: Ryan Steinke
  • AJHL Team: Whitecourt Wolverines
  • Role: Video Specialist
  • Number of Years Volunteering: 1 year

  • Why I Volunteer: I enjoy watching the Wolverines and want to play my part in them being a successful team.
  • Occupation: Oilfield Operator for Cresent Point
  • Favorite AJHL Memory: Although there are so many favorite memories, one that stands out Is our first year in the AJHL. The first round of playoffs was against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons and I went to Fort McMurray to watch the game. The second game in Fort Mac was an extremely emotional one that could have ended our season, but the Wolverines won and I just remember it for being so full of emotion and energy.
  • Favorite AJHL Player: Tanner McCorriston is my favorite player, off the ice Tanner has a lot of personality and on the ice he plays such a mechanical game. It's hard to catch him out of position or making an acrobatic save because he's always where he needs to be in the crease.
