The Okotoks Oilers Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is proud to announce that 20-year old defenseman Drew Weich has committed to the S.A.I.T. Trojans, members of ACAC, for the 2016-17 season.
Drew’s on-ice leadership was exemplary this past season as he become a role model for our extremely young Oiler’s lineup. His off-ice work ethic and commitment to working with us in the community and at our local schools was impressive and greatly appreciated. We hope he will continue to be an ambassador to our program for many years to come.
The Okotoks Oilers would like to thank Drew for his strong leadership role and to both him and his family for their support of our organization over the past few seasons. We would like to wish Drew all the best in both his future academic and hockey endeavors.
