Wishing Tara Cook All the Very Best From the Pontiacs

The Bonnyville Pontiacs announce that Athletic Therapist Tara Cook will not be returning next season. For the last four seasons, Tara has played an integral role with the Bonnyville Pontiacs. Her duties included but were not limited to attending and being available for first response and injury assessments for all games and practices; assessing player injuries, rehabilitation needs; maintaining documentation; managing, repair and distribution of players equipment; game day setup; skate sharpening; equipment inventory and ordering of all team and player equipment related to hockey operations; preparing workouts in accordance with our periodized training plan – also modifying as needed to account for on-ice practice intensity, travel schedule, overall team fatigue, and injury trends; creating preventive programs to address recurring injury trends and supervising athletes during workouts to ensure program adherence and correct execution of exercises;

Tara's exceptional work ethic and dedication helped set the culture of the organization as being the best place to play Junior 'A' hockey in the country.

The Pontiacs would sincerely like to thank Tara for all that she is done. She has established herself as “the best of the best” and we were so fortunate to have her as long as we did. Our organization, our fans, and the town of Bonnyville wish Tara the best in her new adventures.
