The Drayton Valley Thunder are excited to announce that 21-year-old Zach Aston has committed to Grant MacEwan University Griffins for the 2019-2020 season.
Zach earned the Coaches Award last season with the Drayton Valley Thunder. Coach Eric Thurston stated, “Zach was a huge part of our team last season. He brought a positive attitude and an amazing worth ethic each and every day. He is a natural leader who holds players accountable for their actions and he demands hard work and dedication to the team’s success. We are always proud of our players who graduate our program to move to the next level, I couldn’t be happier for Zack and the Griffins.?
We want to congratulate Zach Aston, as well as congratulate his parent’s, Jodi and Glenn Aston and family with this accomplishment. We wish Zach’s continued success as he progresses with his Hockey career and educational aspirations.
