The 2020 Inter Pipeline AJHL Playoffs open Saturday and Sunday with a newly extended best-of-seven first round series.
After battling for 58 games during the regular season, the top seven teams in the Viterra AJHL North Division qualified for the post-season with the Sherwood Park Crusaders receiving a first-round bye for the second consecutive season and the Lloydminster Bobcats missing the cut.
With both the Okotoks Oilers and Brooks Bandits enjoying a bye, there?s just two first-round playoff series in the Viterra AJHL South Division. The match-ups see three returning teams in the Drumheller Dragons, Camrose Kodiaks, and the Canmore Eagles while the Olds Grizzlys make their return to the post-season.
