Justin Dumais, Reid Larson and Archer Cooke Receiv Justin Dumais, Reid Larson and Archer Cooke Receive AJHL Weekly Award Honours!

Justin Dumais of the Fort McMurray Oil Barons is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week. The 19 year-old forward scored a hat trick, including his third game winning goal of the season, in a four-point game on December 2nd versus the Bonnyville Pontiacs and leads the Oil Barons with 38 points in 26 games played. 

The Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week is Canmore Eagles defenceman Reid Larson. The 20 year-old AJHL veteran recorded a three-point game in a 5-2 win over the division leading Camrose Kodiaks on December 5th. Reid Larson and the Eagles defence have allowed the least goals against in the Bunge AJHL South Division as well as the highest goal differential. 

Drayton Valley Thunder goaltender Archer Cooke is the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week. The first-year goaltender posted a 2-0 record from December 1st -7th and currently leads the AJHL with a .928 save percentage.
