Sept 10, 2022 – Camrose player, Ty Sauer, is suspended for two (2) games, as a result of a Major Penalty for a Blow to the Head, during a September 9, 2022 game in Camrose.   The suspension falls under the CJHL Suspension Guidelines for Head Contact.  This suspension is to be served during the Kodiaks next two (2) games.

Sept 10, 2022 – The following suspensions have been issued as a result of a multiple fight situation during the same stoppage on September 9th in Drumheller.  The suspension fall under the CJHL Suspension Guidelines for fighting.

  • William Godfrey, Calgary Canucks – two (2) games suspension
  • Easton Inglis, Calgary Canucks – two (2) games suspension
  • Ty Whitford, Drumheller Dragons – two (2) games suspension
  • Dylan Glinski, Drumheller Dragons – two (2) games suspension

Sept 10, 2022 – Calgary player, Matt Corbet, is suspended for two (2) games, as a result of a Major Penalty for a Blow to the Head, during a September 9, 2022 game in Drumheller.  The suspension falls under the CJHL Suspension Guidelines for Head Contact.   This suspension is to be served during the Canucks next two (2) games.

Sept 10, 2022 – Sherwood Park player, Brendan Kuny, is suspended for two (2) games, as a result of a Major Penalty for a Blow to the Head, during a September 9, 2022 game in Sherwood Park.  The suspension falls under the CJHL Suspension Guidelines for Head Contact.  This suspension is to be served during the Crusaders next two (2) games.

Aug 30, 2022 – A video review has taken place on a play from the August 30th game between Okotoks and Calgary.  The review has found that Okotoks player, Connor Gourley should have been assessed a major penalty and Game Misconduct for a Blow to the Head.  Therefore, Okotoks player Connor Gourley is suspended for three (3) games.  The suspension falls under the CJHL Suspension Guidelines for Head Contact.  This suspension is to be served during the Oilers next three (3) games.
