- August 22, 2025: AJHL Training Camps may open as early as August 22, 2025
- September 19, 2025: AJHL Regular Season Opens
- September 30, 2025: Any player who participates in a non-sanctioned hockey league after September 30th shall only be eligible to register with or affiliate to a CJHL team through the Hockey Canada reinstatement process.
- October 2025: Minor Aged Player Release – Members may not release minor hockey aged players after the team has played 12 AJHL Regular Season games within the current season, unless there is unanimous consent of player, parent, Hockey Alberta and the player’s home community’s minor hockey association.
- November 18, 2025: AJHL Semi-Annual Meeting @ Devon, AB
- December 7-13, 2025: 2025 World Junior A Challenge @ Trois-Rivières, QC
- December 10, 2025 – January 1, 2026: CJHL Holiday Trade Freeze
- December 22-28, 2025: AJHL Holiday Trade Freeze
- January 9, 2026: Affiliation deadline for all AJHL teams
- January 10, 2026: CJHL Trade Deadline
- January 11, 2026: The AJHL Letter of Intent (LOI) is valid for the time period starting January 11 through the opening of the Hockey Canada Registration System (June 1).
- March 15, 2026: End of Regular Season
- March 20, 2026: Start of 2026 AJHL Playoffs – The top 4 teams in each Division advance to Playoffs (Best of Seven Series – 1vs4, 2vs3 within each Division to determine Division Champion for League Final).
- May 7 -17, 2026: 2026 National Junior A Championship (NJAC) Centennial Cup @ Summerside, PEI
