Adam Baughman Commits to Harvard University

The Brooks Bandits are proud to announce that 1996 born Defenseman Adam Baughman has committed to Harvard University.  Located in Cambridge, MA the “Crimson” play in the ECAC led by Head Coach Ted Donato. The Crimson are also fortunate to have added long time Holy Cross Head Coach Paul Pearl to their staff this summer.

Adam is from Chicago, IL and came to the Bandits after playing last season for the Salisbury School in Connecticut.  As a member of Salisbury, Baughman won the New England Prep School Championship edging Gunnery in an Overtime thriller last March.  Adam was also fortunate enough to represent the USA at the World Youth Olympics in 2012.  He was also a 5th overall selection in the 2012 USHL Futures Draft.

Head Coach/GM Ryan Papaioannou – “I saw Adam late in his Salisbury season and was impressed by his mobility for a big man.  Since arriving in Brooks he’s been nothing but an exceptional teammate and a pleasure to work with on the ice.  Adam is a bright young man and this commitment to Harvard comes as no surprise when looking at his game play and academics.  We are looking forward to his development leading up to his departure to Harvard.”
