The 2025 Centennial Cup Champion Calgary Canucks will raise their National Championship banner to the rafters as a start to the 2025-26 season. The Lloydminster Bobcats will open the season in the new Cenovus Energy Hub – the largest and most modern sport and entertainment facility of its kind in the region. The 2,500 seat arena will replace the 58-year-old Centennial Civic Centre as home to the Bobcats!
The Alberta Junior Hockey League will introduce a unique new format for the annual AJHL Showcase including a collaboration of its partners. The event will provide exposure for its athletes to coaches and scouts at all levels of hockey, including Canadian and American Colleges and Universities, the Western Hockey League, and the Canadian Hockey League. Details to be announced in the off-season!
The 2026 Inter Pipeline Cup AJHL Playoffs will see the top four teams in each division advance to determine a Division Champion at the conclusion of Round Two. The South Division Champion and North Division Champion will then compete in the 2026 Inter Pipeline Cup AJHL Final. Each series is a best-of-seven with the highest placed seed meeting the lowest placed seed in the division. The 2026 Inter Pipeline Cup AJHL Playoffs begin Friday, March 20th.
