Ryan Arnold (Spruce Grove, AB) put up a four-point game with two goals and two assists on March 6th versus the Drayton Valley Thunder, including his sixth game winning goal of the season in a 5-3 final. On March 7th, he scored a goal and an assist for the Oil Barons in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Camrose Kodiaks.
Arnold (2005) has 68 points (32G, 36A) in 52 regular season games, placing him sixth overall in AJHL scoring. The Oil Barons have clinched a spot in the 2026 Inter Pipeline Cup AJHL Playoffs.
Whitecourt Wolverines goaltender Elliott Pratt is the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week with a 2-0 record and a shutout.
Pratt (2005) opened the week on March 3rd with a 2-0 win versus the Grande Prairie Storm and a league leading fourth shutout of the season. He turned away 33 shots on March 6th to defeat the Storm 4-2 and hold onto top spot in the Bunge AJHL North Division.
The third-year AJHL goaltender leads the AJHL with a 2.38 GAA and 25 wins, while sitting third overall with a .915 save percentage. The Whitecourt Wolverines have secured a spot in the 2026 Inter Pipeline Cup AJHL Playoffs and are in a battle for first overall in the Canalta Hotels AJHL Standings.
Gavin Harrison of the Bonnyville Pontiacs has been selected as the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week for a fourth time this season. The 2009-born forward and draft pick of the Swift Current Broncos (WHL) leads all AJHL rookies with 58 points (28G, 30A) and extended his nine-game point streak with four points in two games last week.
Harrison (Cold Lake, AB) scored his third game winning goal of the season and added an assist in a 5-1 victory over the Olds Grizzlys on March 6th. He repeated with a goal and an assist in a 5-4 overtime win against the visiting Calgary Canucks on March 7th.
Gavin Harrison has built a nine-game point streak totaling 19 points dating back to February 14th, 2026. He was also recently named the Adapt AJHL Rookie of the Month for February.
