Bobcats to Bring Work Boots in Round 2

In order to get past their second round playoff opponent, the Lloydminster Bobcats will need to take care of the smaller details of the game and come ready with their work boots on.

Lloydminster will begin the second round of the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Viterra North Division Gas Drive Playoffs tomorrow night in Whitecourt, at the Scott Safety Centre, against the Wolverines. Throughout the regular season, the pair of team’s faced each other on seven occasions, leaving the Bobcats with a 3-4 record – two of which games resulted in overtime wins for the ‘Cats. The Bobcats registered 18-goals-for and allowed 25 goals against.

“I think everyone is pretty excited, but I mean, we expect a lot of ourselves,” said Bobcats forward Ryan Chynoweth. “We weren’t saying we would look past Drayton Valley, but we knew our second round would be where the real work starts. I think everyone in here is excited to get going.”
