The final Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the 2013-2014 season is Brooks Bandits forward Austin Plevy. The 19 year-old forward scored 5 points in 2 games (1G, 4A) and assisted on the game winner in both victories last week. Plevy recorded a 4 point game versus the Canmore Eagles on February 28th and earned the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game Award.
Austin Plevy (Langley, BC) joined the Bandits at the Trade Deadline in January 2014 and has since tallied 24 points in 19 games. During his short time with the team, he has also earned the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game Award four times.
Plevy and the Bandits captured first place in the AJHL South Division and a first round bye in the 2014 AJHL Gas Drive Playoffs. Plevy is committed to Merrimack College of the NCAA Division I.
