Olds Grizzlys forward, Wyatt Noskey, is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the opening week of December. Wyatt scored 3 goals, 5 assists and 8 points in 2 games last week and was named the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game on December 3rd after his 5 point performance in a win over the Calgary Mustangs.
Noskey is second in team scoring and in the Top 10 of AJHL Scorers with 36 points (17G, 19A). The 20 year old from High Prairie, Alberta is averaging 1.2 points per game and has already surpassed his point total from the 2014-2015 season. This is Noskey’s third season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

The Alberta Ford Dealers Goalie of the Week is Josh Davies of the Brooks Bandits. Davies was 3-0 last week and has recorded wins in his last 5 games. Davies posted a 1.63 GAA and .943 save percentage over the week. On December 5th, he was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game after facing 40 shots and recording an OT win over the Whitecourt Wolverines.
Josh Davies is 21-5-2 in the regular season with a 2.38 GAA, the 5th best in the AJHL. The 20 year-old has played the most minutes of all AJHL goaltenders (1,715) and recorded the most wins (21). Davies (Guelph, ON) is in his 2nd season with the Bandits.
The Bandits hold 1st place in the Viterra AJHL South Division with 46 points (22-6-2). The team has compiled a 4 game winning streak and are 8-2-0 in their last 10 games.
