Bauer (Three Hills, AB) was awarded the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game for his hat trick performance on December 8th, which was his second hat trick of December 2015. He also received the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game award on December 11th when he scored the game winner over the Okotoks Oilers.
Mackenzie Bauer is tied for 2nd place in team scoring with 39 points (19G, 20A) and is averaging 1.3 points per game for the Kodiaks. Logan Drackett of the Calgary Canucks is the Alberta Ford Dealers Goalie of the Week. The 17 year-old rookie goaltender was 2-0 last week and posted a 1.43GAA on 57 shots. Drackett (Calgary, AB) was also the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game on December 12th in a 2-1 victory over the North Division’s Bonnyville Pontiacs.
Logan has won 4 of his last 5 games for the Canucks and the hometown boy is 9-9-0 in the regular season. His save percentage of .918% is 6th among all AJHL goaltenders. The Canucks won their last two games and are 4-6-0 in their last 10 games.
