The Alberta Ford Dealers Goalie of the Week is Riley Morris of the Okotoks Oilers. Riley was 3-0-0 last week including a shutout win over the Camrose Kodiaks on October 10th. He was also selected as the Viterra AJHL Player of the Game in a 4-3 OT win over Canmore on October 6th.
Riley Morris stopped 83 of 90 shots through the week of October 5th – 12th and recorded a 2.25 GAA. The Calgary, AB native is 4th amongst AJHL goaltenders with a 2.16 GAA and tied for first with 7 wins on the season. This is his second season with the Oilers.
The Okotoks Oilers cracked the CJHL Top 20 Weekly Rankings this week after putting together a 4 game winning streak and now sit in 1st spot in the Viterra AJHL South Division with 19 points and a record of 9-2-1.
