Connor Chambers Commits To Wisconsin Stevens Point

The Okotoks Oilers Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is pleased to announce that 21-year old defenceman Connor Chambers has committed to a Division III program with University of Wisconsin Stevens Point for the 2016-17 season. 

Chambers, a native of Pequot, MN, was a two-year member of the Okotoks Oilers.  Connor was named Team Captain this past 2015-16 season.  He played 112 games while accumulating 11 goals and 41 assists for a total of 52 points.  Rounding out his AJHL career, Chambers added an additional 8 points from his 15 playoff appearances as an Oiler. 

Chambers was a hardworking, steady, two-way defensemen that played key minutes during his time as an Okotoks Oiler.  With his experience, he will be a steady influence on the back end and will be a key member of the Wisconsin Stevens Point Hockey Club.

The Okotoks Oilers would like to congratulate Connor and his family on this next step in Connor’s hockey and academic career.  We wish Connor continued success for the future.
