Considering they never actually got around to posting the job opening, the Sherwood Park Crusaders certainly had no lack of interest in qualified candidates looking to replace outgoing associate coach Scott McNeill.
The Cru recently decided on his replacement, finding their man in Manah.
Adam Manah joins the Crusaders staff after being the head coach of Grande Prairie’s Midget AAA program for the past three seasons. This past year Manah led the Grande Prairie squad to its first Mac’s Midget AAA tournament appearance, as well as helping the team clinch the program’s first playoff spot since joining the AMHL.
He was also an assistant coach for two seasons with the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Grande Prairie Storm and has been involved with Hockey Alberta’s program of excellence in the Alberta Cup in both a coaching and mentorship capacity.
