Darryl Olsen Named Interim Head Coach of Calgary Canucks

The Calgary Canucks Jr. A Hockey Club of the Alberta Junior Hockey League announces that effective immediately Darryl Olsen will act as interim Head Coach of the team.

A native Calgarian, Mr. Olsen has an extensive hockey resume playing for the Calgary Northstars, graduating to the Alberta Junior Hockey League, starring for the Northern Michigan University Wildcats and embarking on a ten-year professional career in North America and Europe highlighted by the experience of playing for his hometown Calgary Flames.

Darryl stepped in as Head Coach of the Drumheller Dragons last year leading them through a tough playoff series against the Calgary Canucks. Darryl's first game as interim Head Coach of the Calgary Canucks is on Saturday at 5pm at the Ken Bracko Arena against the Olds Grizzlys.
